Our paint is also available as a translucent Milk Paint Base, without pigment, for those who wish to start from scratch with their own universal tinting colors or other water-soluble pigments.

To achieve an immediate antique look on surfaces painted with Milk Paint (and some other water based finishes), brush on our Antique Crackle before the final coat of paint for an instant "alligator" or crackled look. This natural gelatin product is a Non-toxic, FDA approved mildewcide. Comes in pints, quarts, and gallons. Click here for more information on Antique Crackle.
Note: We do not recommend using our SafeCoat product, which is water-based, on any surface that you have used our Antique Crackle on, as it will re-activate the crackle medium. Instead use any non-water-based sealer over the crackled surface.
